A promise we'll keep saying: SwingDino is a trend tracker, not a radar gun, and nothing you film is ever saved or uploaded.
The app now keeps your swing count, every cut you take, even the ones the camera could not read cleanly. It lands in History and on your player card, and it feeds your dino too.
The grind trophies run on it too. Take 100 cuts and Cut Collector is yours, and the long road to Ten Thousand Cuts starts today.
Swings taken feed your swing count, XP, and trophies only. Exit velo, PRs, and consistency still come from cleanly measured swings, nothing else.
When Sage reads a swing, you can now swipe the key phases, setup, load, contact, follow-through, with the body-pose skeleton drawn right on each one.
It's the easiest way yet to see where the turn went right, and where it got away from you.
The speed gun and Sage now only show a number when the camera got a clean look at the ball. A rough read says so, plainly, instead of pretending.
Miss the look entirely and it tells you the fix, stand to the side, give the ball room, instead of guessing. And a shaky read can no longer sneak in and fake a personal record.
A swing only counts toward a PR when the camera tracked the ball cleanly. Fewer numbers, but every one is earned.
New mode: Review. Point the camera at a hitter and Sage reads the swing, balance, posture, head, and contact, then hands back one thing to work on with a drill to do it. 🦖
On a newer iPhone he can map the turn in 3-D for a closer look at how the body sequences. Already shot a swing at the cage? Hand him the clip and he'll read that too.
New game: Boneyard Ball. Schoolyard-draft three dino kids against Ace, grab the bat, and play a full game, you swing every inning, your crew's gloves handle the field. Watch out for his crazy pitches… and earn crazy bats back. 🦖
It takes the warm-up's spot on Home, Rex's Warm-Up grew up into a whole sandlot game. Rumor is a tiny, silent secret player shows up for kids who keep practicing.
The Derby's batting got real too: slide the bat onto the pitch, lift to swing, and catch it just under center to send it out. Hitting bombs is a skill now, not a coin flip.
Game runs and derby distances are arcade points, never measurements. Your real swing numbers only ever come from Hit mode.
New game: Dino Derby. Tee one up, time it right, and smash the glowing target, three outs, three rounds, then a bat-flip you earned. It's you vs. you, never a leaderboard of kids. 🦖
Coach Rex Pitch grew up too: Rex now fires from the mound with a real baseball, you're in the batter's box, and it's a pure warm-up now, loosen your timing, no score, no pressure.
Fixed a game screen that was sitting a hair off-center on some phones. Sits straight now.
Added two stadiums to take your cuts in: Night Game (small-town lights) and Volcano Valley (lava on the horizon). Pick yours before the first pitch.
