The deal in plain English: SwingDino is a fun, honest training tool. Use it in good faith, and here's what you can and can't expect from us.
What SwingDino is
SwingDino is a training and entertainment tool. It gives you good estimatesof your swing to track progress and have fun, it is not an official measurement instrument, a scouting service, or a medical or performance guarantee. Don't use it to make decisions you'd only trust a lab for. See exactly how accurate it is, and isn't, on the accuracy page.
Using the app
The core app is free to use on a compatible iPhone. Children should use it under a parent or guardian's supervision, and a parent sets up and manages each hitter. Please don't misuse the app, that includes trying to reverse-engineer it, reselling it, or using it to harm others.
Estimates, not guarantees
Your numbers are camera-based estimates that depend on light, setup, and how the ball moves. They will not always match a radar gun, and we make no promise that any reading is exact. We build for repeatability so your trend over time is meaningful, that's the number to trust.
SwingDino Plus
SwingDino Plus is an optional paid subscription that adds unlimited sessions, family hitters, full history, and coaching reads. The price, billing period, and how to cancel are shown clearly before you pay, and the subscription is managed through your app store account. The free app, a weekly measured session, the games, your card, and your record, stays free.
What we can't promise
We work hard to make SwingDino reliable, but it's provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental losses from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be waived.
Changes
As the app grows, these terms may change. We'll update this page and the date below when they do, and significant changes will be flagged in the app.
